Hello again Groovers

Have you ever wondered what it would be like being a Karaoke Host travelling to and from shows setting up packing down night after night listening to 100's of singers week after week being told "It's too loud" or "They all sing boring songs" by the publicans and from the singers "I can't hear myself" and "How come i have to wait an hour to sing my song have you heard how well i sing" and whatever happend to "Thank You" & "Please" we plug away with our shows cause we still love it and remain motivated to provide the best in Karaoke.
This week we will not be at The Impact Bar on a Saturday back again on the 20/3.
I was at The Carlton Hotel last Friday for a private party there is photos in the gallery there is also pics from our gigs.

Just a note to anyone who is interested. Groove Karaoke is registered with M.I.P.I and we have the relevant licenses and manufacturer approval to put our discs on to a laptop.

Great venue small stage we have gone back using our equipment, the stage is well lit by spotlights .
Seating consists of lounges and bar stools , normally quiet early then around 9.30pm gets busy with students March-November we have had 56 singers on a big night , on a normal night 20 -25 about 3 songs if you are there when we start.
Being Fremantle we get a lot of Backpackers and Tourists and each week is very different...

We have been at the Mt Henry since December 04 and have had 4 Mt Henry Idols, our first venue where it all started.
A big stage we use all our equipment @ The Henry, a massive big projector screen for the lyrics, it is held in the loungebar so there is plenty of comfortable seating also some bar stools along the bar it self, a popular restaurant , kitchen open till 9pm.
We get 25-40 singers there, some nights only 2 songs a wide variety of singers from very experienced to karaoke virgins....

Fun & Friendly venue , we have been at Hotel Northbridge Friday's since April 08 our smallest venue but we have a very popular dance floor.

Friday's are well and truly party time, we have had 42 singers some nights, we use our own gear, no foldback only because lack of room and the lyrics are displayed on an LCD on the wall.

Hour Of Power 10.30pm-11.30pm upbeat songs only that we can dance to

We get a fantastic mix of singers from the Suit & Tie crowd to Back packers. Seating is limited so get there early.....
